Waikato Innovation Park is an independently owned organisation, promoting a culture of collaboration within its campus, throughout the country and globally.
Located just ten minutes from the Hamilton CBD, Waikato Innovation Park, the University of Waikato and the AgResearch Centre Campus together make up the three key facilities in the Knowledge Zone area.
The Waikato Expressway is adjacent, providing ease of access for tenants, employees and visitors.

Pink RibbonWe aim to run or support a Pink Ribbon initiative each year - from encouraging a "Pink Day" to hosting a morning-tea or providing a venue. Creating and encouraging opportunities for our community to donate.
DelegationsThroughout the year, we regularly support and at times host tours and presentations for a variety of international delegations. These visits create valuable opportunities for businesses within the Park to build global connections and contribute to the ongoing growth and vibrancy of our Park community.
NZ BloodWe provide NZ Blood with complimentary use of our venue at Waikato Innovation Park three to four times a year. We also actively promote these donation opportunities to our network of approximately 650 tenants, while offering NZ Blood an additional location to engage with and welcome members of the wider community.
Recreate NZWe’re proud to support Recreate by offering our venue free of charge for a range of events throughout the year. Recreate provides meaningful opportunities for youth with disabilities, and regularly uses our Conference Centre to host social events like movie nights, Easter celebrations, and games nights.
Local & Central GovernmentWe’re proud to welcome New Zealand government officials to the Park, fostering valuable connections between them, our tenants, and the wider community. These visits offer a unique opportunity for tenants to showcase their work, build relationships, and explore new avenues for collaboration and growth.

EV Charging on Site
Six electric vehicle charging stations are available at Waikato Innovation Park. A WEL networks fast charger is available adjacent to the SkyPoint Building and four public EV charges next to the Tetra Pak building.
Arts House Trust
Waikato Innovation Park is proud to partner with The Arts House Trust to showcase 44 pieces of art throughout three buildings on the park premises.
This New Zealand art is intended for the admiration and enjoyment of our tenants as well as the general public.

Simon has been with the Park since 2008 and oversees the Park's growing infrastructure including new buildings and services. Prior to coming to the Park, Simon was the IT Infrastructure Manager for the University of Waikato and has 30+ years’ experience in various forms of infrastructure management.
